The Innkeeper

Christy Wilkinson

My husband, John, and I home school our three sons, Jay, Matthew, and James. The Lord has blessed us with a wonderful home in Surry County where we raise chickens and, hopefully soon, cattle. We are members of Smithfield Assembly of God in Smithfield, VA, where we hold many positions and job titles.

My interests include cooking, traveling, gardening, photography, teaching, learning and meeting new people. Working as the innkeeper of the Manor House provides me with the opportunity to do all of these things. It is also a wonderful learning tool for our sons. We are drawn to the beauty and rich history the Manor has to offer.

It is amazing to me when I look back on my life and see the steps that have been ordered by the Lord. Every inch of the way He has been with me --through the hard times and through the happy times. God is so good! We enjoy our salvation and are looking forward to serving Him more and more each day.
